Our Dance Classes

A joyful first introduction to dance and performing arts for our youngest dancers. Creative Movers brings together the foundations of ballet, tap, jazz and musical theatre through music, imagination, movement and play.

Children develop coordination, musicality, confidence, listening skills and independence while discovering the joy of dancing, singing and performing. It’s the perfect place to begin their dance journey, with no previous experience needed.

Ballet builds beautiful foundations in posture, strength, coordination, musicality and confidence, while giving dancers the discipline and enjoyment that come from learning a classical art form. From first steps through to advanced training, our ballet classes welcome beginners and experienced dancers, with opportunities to work towards recognised Royal Academy of Dance (RAD) examinations. Dancers develop at their own pace while gaining skills that support every other style of dance.

Tap is energetic, rhythmic and great fun, combining dance, music and the joy of making your own sounds. Classes develop coordination, musicality, rhythm and performance skills while helping dancers build confidence and a strong sense of timing. Beginners are welcome, with opportunities to progress through ISTD examinations as their skills develop.

Dynamic, expressive and full of energy, Modern & Jazz gives dancers the chance to explore exciting choreography while developing strong technique, musicality and performance skills. Classes suit dancers from beginners through to more experienced students, with opportunities to work towards ISTD examinations. Expect great music, plenty of movement and lots of opportunity to find your own performance style.

High-energy, current and full of personality, Commercial & Street Dance brings together the styles you see in music videos, live performances and on the dance floor. Dancers learn exciting choreography inspired by pop, hip-hop and contemporary commercial artists, while developing rhythm, musicality, coordination, confidence and their own individual style.

Whether your child calls it Commercial, Street or Hip-Hop, this is a fun, energetic class where they can express themselves, build confidence and enjoy dancing to the music they love.

Contemporary is all about movement, expression and individuality. Dancers explore creative choreography while developing strength, flexibility, control and the confidence to communicate through movement. It’s a great choice for dancers who enjoy exploring different ways to move and want to develop their artistry as well as their technique.

Acro combines dance with exciting physical skills, helping dancers develop strength, flexibility, balance, coordination and body control. Classes are carefully structured so dancers can build their skills progressively and safely, from foundational movements through to more advanced tricks. It’s challenging, rewarding and a brilliant way to build confidence in what your body can do.

Our Singing & Drama classes give young performers the chance to sing, act, create and build confidence in a supportive environment. Through songs, scenes, games and performance, students develop their voice, communication, creativity and stage presence. Whether they dream of musical theatre or simply want to feel more confident, there’s plenty of opportunity to shine.

Dancers develop rhythm, musicality, coordination, confidence and partnering skills while learning a range of classic and exciting dances. Whether you're completely new to dance or looking to develop existing skills, Latin & Ballroom is a wonderful way to learn, move and connect with others.
